  1. Q. What machine do I use and how do I fit the guide plate and Raker or Chaser.
    A. You must 1st of all make sure you have a grinder that takes 115mm or 125mm diameter discs and that the motor is a least 650w, you then carry out the following procedure.

    1. Make sure the guard that is on the grinder is fitted onto a color and not screwed into the main body.
    2. Remove the existing guard from the grinder by loosening the screw or nut.
    3. Remove the collet and flange from the central spindle
    4. Screw the Raker/Chaser onto the M14 threaded spindle.
    5. Do not over tighten.
    6. Place the Guide Plate onto the collar of the grinder and tighten the bolt until the collar of the guide plate is solid and secure.
    7. The machine is now ready to use.

  2. Q. How long will my Raker/Chaser last.
    A. This is a difficult one as it depends on the strength and abrasiveness of the material and you are cutting, however we have had reports from one user that the 8mm x 150mm Long Series Raker cut out 250 bricks.
